PERSONAL ACCIDENT
- Protects you from the misfortunes of accidents while travelling. It offers benefits for death, disablement, and dismemberment due to accident including burial benefits.

RECOVERY OF TRAVEL EXPENSE
- Pays cash for reasonable and irrecoverable travel cost. This shall reimburse the unused portion of travel and accommodation expenses paid in advance that are non-refundable.

TRAVEL ASSISTANCE BENEFITS
- Pays you back for costs of medical evacuation and repatriation if you get sick and have to be taken back home or to the nearest medical facility.

MEDICAL REIMBURSEMENT
- Enables you to reimburse up to Php 500,000 for accident-related expenses during your travel. Includes provision of cash allowance for hospital admission cause by the accident (maximum of 7 days)

TRAVEL INCONVENIENCE BENEFITS
- Provides reimbursement to extra expenses brought by these travel hassles, including expense baggage delay, damage or loss of baggage, loss of travel documents.


APPLICATION QUALIFICATION
- Travel destination must be local or a Non-Schengen State or City.

DOES TRAVELITE HAVE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?
- People aged 18 to 64 years old may be covered by Travelite.

IS THERE A MINIMUM DISTANCE REQUIREMENT BETWEEN MY HOME AND THE TRAVEL DESTINATION FOR TRAVELITE COVERAGE?
- No, there are no distance limits for Travelite coverage.

I'LL BE TRAVELLING TO A SCHENGEN STATE. IS TRAVELITE COMPLIANT TO THE VISA APPLICATION REQUIREMENT?
- No, Travelite does not meet the required coverage for emergency medical treatment worth 50,000 USD for Schengen Visa application. However, it can be used anywhere as long as there are no specific high-value coverage limits required.

WHO IS ELEGIBLE TO BUY TRAVELITE?
- Anyone can purchase Travelite, provided that the insured traveler is between 18 to 64 years old.

WHERE AND HOW WILL I FILE CLAIM?
- To initiate a claim, please promptly notify Malayan Insurance or your authorized insurance agent, either verbally or in writing, within 30 days from the date of the loss. You have the option to file a claim conveniently through our website at www.malayan.com or by visiting any of our 35 branches nationwide.
